KAJIAN PEMBERIAN PUPUK GUANO DAN PUPUK KALIUM NITRAT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KEDELAI HITAM (GLYCINE MAX L.)

Research combination of guano fertilizer and KNO₃ on black soybeans is still limited, particularly regarding the optimal dosage and its effects on seed yield. Based on research problem, the interaction between the application of guano fertilizer and potassium nitrate (KNO₃). The purpose research this study is to examine the application of guano fertilizer and potassium nitrate on the growth and yield of black soybean plants. The research was conducted from May 27 to August 12, 2025, at the Tohudan Horticultural Seed Garden, Colomadu, Karanganyar. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the dosage of guano fertilizer (G), consisting of 3 levels: G0 = 0 ton/ha (without guano fertilizer), G1 = 2 ton/ha (24 grams/plant), G2 = 4 ton/ha (48 grams/plant). The second factor was the dosage of potassium nitrate (KNO₃) fertilizer, consisting of 4 levels: K0 = 0 grams/plant (without potassium nitrate), K1 = 10 grams/plant, K2 = 20 grams/plant, K3 = 30 grams/plant. The observed parameters were plant height, number of leaves, fresh biomass weight, dry biomass weight, number of pods, number of seeds, seed weight, and weight of 100 seeds. The results of study showed (1) There was no interaction between guano fertilizer and potassium nitrate fertilizer on all observed parameters. (2) Guano fertilizer had an effect on plant height and number of leaves, with the best treatment at a guano dosage of 4 ton/ha, resulting in an average height of 88.24 cm and an average of 58.78 leaves per black soybean plant. (3) Potassium nitrate fertilizer affected the number of leaves, number of pods per plant, and number of seeds per plant, with the best results obtained at a dosage of 30 grams/plant, producing an average of 58.78 leaves, 157.89 pods per plant, and 447.67 seeds per black soybean plant.
