Author Guidelines

Artificial Intelligence Research and Applied Learning (AIRA)

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to AIRA: Artificial Intelligence Research and Applied Learning are expected to follow the guidelines below. Manuscripts that do not adhere to these instructions may be returned to the author(s) for revision prior to peer review.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English.
  • Submissions must be uploaded through the online submission system of AIRA
  • All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism before the review process.

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should follow the structure below:

  • Title – concise and informative, maximum 15 words.
  • Author(s) and Affiliation(s) – full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and email address(es).
  • Abstract – maximum 250 words, written in English, containing research objectives, methods, findings, and implications.
  • Keywords – 3–5 keywords separated by commas.
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review and Theoretical Framework
  • Research Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion and Implications
  • References – must follow APA Style (7th edition).

3. Formatting Guidelines

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx).
  • Length: 6,000 – 8,000 words including references, tables, and figures.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment.
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.
  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and placed close to their first mention in the text.

4. References

  • All references must be written in APA Style (7th edition).
  • It is recommended to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

5. Submission and Review Process

  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the JUMDER online submission system.
  • Each submission will undergo an initial editorial screening, plagiarism check, and double-blind peer review.
  • The review process typically takes 6–8 weeks.

6. Publication Ethics

AIRA follows strict publication ethics based on COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Authors are expected to uphold integrity, avoid plagiarism, and disclose any conflict of interest.

7. Article Processing Charges (APC)

Currently, there is no submission or publication fee for authors. AIRA provides free open access to all published articles.
